| BMTSilicone fluid is a clear,
colourless, odourless and tasteless polydimethylsiloxane. Although
available in a very wide range of viscosities, the viscosities
generally used in formulating polishes are between 100 and
30.000mm²/s. To obtain the optimum results, in terms of ease of
application and depth of gloss, it is preferable to use a blend of
low viscosity fluid and a active ingredient in a variety high
viscosity fluid.
Silicone Fluids are a group of liquid, water-clear polydimethyl
silxones. They differ from organic compounds in both their physical
and chemical properties, which, singly* or in combination, have won
Silicone Fluids a special place in technology.
As a result of these properties possesed by Silicone Fluids, they
are eminently suitable for use as:
| Heat transfer media |
Mould release agents |
| Hydraulic fluids |
Polishes |
| Liquid dielectrics |
Lubricants Damping fluids |
| Water repellents |
